The ALTHEA project consortium met in Milan, Italy, for its General Assembly, hosted at the headquarters of the project coordinator, Regione Lombardia. The meeting brought together project partners to review the progress achieved during the first months of implementation and coordinate the activities planned for the next project phase.
Funded under the Horizon Europe programme, ALTHEA supports the transition towards climate-neutral and smarter cities through the development and implementation of innovative mobility solutions across five Transition Super Living Labs (TSLLs): the Milan Metropolitan Region, Epirus-Ioannina Region, Alicante-Elche Functional Area, Antwerp-Rotterdam, and the Lisbon Metropolitan Region.
The General Assembly provided an opportunity to assess the progress made so far and discuss the upcoming implementation phase of the five TSLLs, with partners aligning on the next technical and organisational steps required to launch the planned activities.
FIT Innovation was represented by Paola Astegiano and Dario Irrera, who presented the progress achieved in the development of the project’s evaluation framework, one of the activities carried out within the work package led by FIT Innovation.
Beyond the technical discussions, the meeting offered an important opportunity for consortium partners to exchange experiences, strengthen collaboration and reinforce their shared commitment to supporting the transition towards climate-neutral, resilient and smart urban mobility systems.
